Returns Policy

DAMAGES

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. IMPORTANT: If the item is damaged, you can sign for it as Damaged and we can then file a claim with Fedex / UPS right away and have the item replaced. However, if there is damage and you sign for it as “Not Damaged”, then we will need for you to send information and photos on the damage so that we can work to file a claim with Fedex / UPS. You can send photos to sales@mysmartscooter.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. MySmartScooter.com does not pay or reimburse any labor costs undertaken by the customer under any circumstances.

RETURNS (In Store & Online)

Drifft Stores and MySmartScooter.com offer a 30-day easy return process, however, all buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs. If you are not completely satisfied with a product purchased from Drifft, you may return it within 30 days of the purchase/delivery date for a refund. Returned products must be undamaged, unopened and unused. Absolutely no refunds or returns will be granted for ANY PRODUCT that has visible wear and tear and/or doesn’t have the original packaging.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

If Order Has Not Been Shipped: We do not charge our customers any restocking fees if an order is canceled within 24 hours of placing your order. Refunds are processed within 48 hours of the customer initiating a refund request.

If Order Has Been Shipped: The Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. The product must still be unused and unopened. Once we receive the scooter back we will process the customer refund within 48 hours of our receipt of the product back at our warehouse.

Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card or Amazon Payments account which was used when originally placing your order. Our company staff is very easy to work with and you will find that if and whenever a “situation” arises we work with our customers to correct any issues, versus working against them just to decline a return or refund.

Warranties

KooWheel Skateboard Warranty

All KooWheel products are covered by a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty against defects, subject to limitation below. This warranty only applies to the original owner of a KooWheel product. Your warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, abuse, stunt riding, commercial use, improper assembly or maintenance, failure to follow instructions in the relevant owner’s manual, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible, use of any charger not supplied by KooWheel, installation of power systems such as engines or electric motors, damage due to accident, weather or neglect, acts of God, or modification of the product. For purposes of this warranty, a defect is defined as; “A flaw, failure or cosmetic blemish caused by the manufacturing process or material that was not consistent with the original design”. This warranty implies no strength or fatigue value beyond industry standards. This warranty does not mean “indestructible” as all materials can fail if pushed beyond design and manufacturing limits. This warranty does not include normal wear-and-tear parts (i.e., tires, tubes, cables, grips, chains, etc.) – all of which are subject to varying wear life depending on use, load, weather, road conditions etc. Customers are responsible for shipping costs for all warranty claims. If you return your KooWheel product and the issue is a covered event under the warranty, we will repair the product and return it to you at our cost. If the issue is not a covered event under the warranty, we will provide a quote for repair costs and return shipping costs to you. We reserve the right to use refurbished/comparable value components and products in fulfilling any warranty claim.
